Sylar said emotionless "It's a long story, hard to explain."

Celia thought about this. It was... unbelievable. Hesitantly, she asked. "If you've killed all those people for powers... what's stopping you from killing me?"

Sylar said "Like I said it's hard to explain and why I kill you. I have no use for your powers nor want them. I wish I could have the power of Empathic Mimicry so I wouldn't have to kill. I've been cursed with an unholy gift. And I won't kill you probably because I care for you. Other than my assistant Childer I've been lonely and never had children of my own. I figured if I took you in you could fill the void in my life."

Celia looked up at him wonderingly, a bit surprised. "Really?.. You want to like, adopt me?"

Sylar smiled for the first time and nodded.

Celia thought about it, she then smiled a little. "That's... cool. I've never had parents before, or anything like that."

Sylar slolwy walked over and hugged Celia and a tear fell from his eye "My real father Samson had the same peowers as me. He was a killer. He sold me as a child to my uncle and killed my mother for her powers. Later on he even tried to kill me. I hate this power. I would rather be human than cursed with the hunger."

Celia hesitated at the hug, her body tensed. Human contact wasn't something she was used to. But she slowly relaxed, slowly hugged him back. "I know what you're feeling. Not in the exact same way but I've experianced it in one way or another... I'm sorry."

Sylar than said with a blank face "It's as if two sides are fighting within me, Gabriel Gray and Sylar."

Celia let go, she looked up at him. "Well, don't let Sylar win. Inner battles are hard... but you just got to try." She said softly.

Sylar said "At this point in my life I'll have to accept a new name. I think Gabrial Sylar will work. And you don't understand, Sylar is powerful and with him comes the hunger. When I became Sylar I felt special. All Gabrial Gray was, was a watchmaker."

Celia frowned a bit listening to him. "A watchmaker isn't that bad..."

Sylar said "No one cares about watchmakers. Few of them get known or famous and it's a boring job making timepieces."

"At least you're not killing people while doing it though." Celia pointed out.

Sylar frowned "You wouldn't undersand."

Celia let out a sigh, pushing a strand of hair back with one hand. "Probably not."

Sylar nodded.

Celia looked up at him. "So, what happens now?"

Sylar said expressionless "You ask so many questions. I don't know. I can't tell the future though we may need to talk wit some "old friends" about controlling our powers."

Celia raised a eyebrow curiously. "Old friends?" She paused, there she was asking questions again. She couldn't help it. All of this was new and exciting!

Sylar nodded and said "Specfically Alex Jones."

Celia looked at Sylar confused. "Who?"

Sylar smirked "A guy I know, Evolved Human with the Powers of Empathic Mimicry who lost control of his powers in a trance similiar to yours."

Celia thought back to earlier that day. "The boy that had my powers?"

Sylar tilted his head and said "In a way yes. His original powers aren't yours but he fell in a similiar daze to you and got similar powers. Let's go"
